Meet my private nurse and podcast host Erin.

This cancer has brought many good things into my life. One of them is my faithful nurse, amazing playmate, incredible friend and dedicated host of my podcast, Erin DeJong.

Erin is a ray of sunshine and when she walks through my bedroom with her big smile I know our day will be fun. Nursing many times gets in the way of our time together. So we dedicate two hours to nursing and chore stuff every day and the other two hours we play and do silly stuff.

Or we talk about serious stuff which we only do if something stressful is coming up or bad news came back.

Erin also has many talents. She is a nurse, writer, artist, comedian, baker, podcaster, and probably more that I have yet to uncover. I am so thankful that she came into my life and am grateful for her spirit and kindness every day.

About The Author

A few months ago, I was told that my boobs are trying to kill me and being misdiagnosed for two years allowed them to recruit throughout the rest of my body by way of my spine. Before this, I knew f*ck all about cancer. Now, between sipping chemo cocktails, I want to talk about the truth of living with Stage 4 Breast Cancer with my support system and people I have met along the way to recovery.
