A Million Helping Hands

There are more things that it takes a village to do than just raise a child. This experience is something that I could not due without the huge network of people who have stepped up to help, share love and stories with me and have been there through all the dark and difficult moments.

I am overwhelmed by all of the people that have stepped up for me and just the time and love that they are constantly giving me.

Here is a video of my lovely dad, who still now sleeps by my side every night. He is not only there at night but also has been the chauffeur and dog walker when needed.

My family members have all taken on different roles. My mother is the chef and makes all of my food. Al schedules everything and we have a board in my room at home to keep track of it all.

The greatest thing that people are giving me is just time, love and company. I am so thankful to have someone who will just sit with me – no matter what sort of day it is. Zach is great at just sitting with me.

About The Author

A few months ago, I was told that my boobs are trying to kill me and being misdiagnosed for two years allowed them to recruit throughout the rest of my body by way of my spine. Before this, I knew f*ck all about cancer. Now, between sipping chemo cocktails, I want to talk about the truth of living with Stage 4 Breast Cancer with my support system and people I have met along the way to recovery.
