The Radiation Road – Part Two

When you hear about cancer treatment, they for some reason focus on all of the side effects and how difficult the whole process can be. I am not saying that it is a walk in the park, but I also want to talk about all of the things that radiation has given me and how thankful I am for it.

Radiation is the reason I can be active at all and the reason that I am able to still enjoy life. Without it, I can’t imagine how much more difficult this would be and how much more pain I would be living with on a daily basis.

So the nausea and the little side effects that go along with it are totally worth it when I think of all I am getting back in return.

A few months ago, I was told that my boobs are trying to kill me and being misdiagnosed for two years allowed them to recruit throughout the rest of my body by way of my spine. Before this, I knew f*ck all about cancer.
