I have always said that I would rather have something wrong with my physical health than something terminally wrong with my mental health. As we understand physical pain and suffering so much more, there is more research, funding and support or it and it there is no stigma.
But, the medications that I am on do come with some mental health side effects. Adding that there is a lot of stress in my life that I didn’t have or think about six months ago.
So, now I deal with anxiety. It is something that 1 in 3 people have dealt with in their lifetime but that doesn’t make it any easier. We each have to find our own ways of coping.
