One of the major things that is on my mind in these first few weeks home is continuing with pain management. In addition to medication, we are looking into as many different avenues as possible to deal with it. But first, we need to figure out where the pain is coming from.
Touch has been a huge part of my pain management and recovery journey. It is just another way that my family and friends are stepping up on a daily basis and showing me that they care. I get foot and leg massages and need massages on my back to help with pain.
