Cancer Parties

My concept of what makes a party might have changed a little over the past six months. It doesn’t need to be something with drinks and loud music and a hundred people. Some of the best memories that we are making is just having a few people sitting around my room and chatting about everything we can think about.

Our parties started in my rocking hospital room.

We can have a party about everything. One of the big triumphs for me these days is when I get my pain under control. It means I can spend more time and energy on friends and family.

About The Author

A few months ago, I was told that my boobs are trying to kill me and being misdiagnosed for two years allowed them to recruit throughout the rest of my body by way of my spine. Before this, I knew f*ck all about cancer. Now, between sipping chemo cocktails, I want to talk about the truth of living with Stage 4 Breast Cancer with my support system and people I have met along the way to recovery.
